Our strategy is to train managers at the core of logistic businesses in solid competencies in organizing, planning, executing and controlling the logistics chain generated for today’s companies when they administer the flow of products, information and services, with people as their most important asset.
We will prepare outstanding young professionals for junior management positions in logistics related businesses, e.g. (logistics) consulting companies, transportation and shipping industries or supply chain departments of big or medium-sized companies.
The full-time program is aimed at young professionals with initial business experience who would like to qualify for management positions at logistics companies with an international orientation.
Our MBA classes in the past have been truely international, each with students from at least ten countries around the world.
The typical Kühne School student is between 24-34 years old, has 1-8 years working experience, has an international background, has an educational background in the field of business & economics, engineering or logistics, is highly motivated, purposeful and eager to perform well and has a clear idea of his professional targets.
Our program focuses on an integrated approach to logistics, or to logistics networks, in other words the interplay of suppliers, manufacturers, logistics service providers and retailers. This comprehensive view of logistics from the perspective of all of the players that are involved in it is characteristic of the Kuehne School’s teaching concept.
The language of instruction for the full-time program is English. A knowledge of German is of great importance for graduates who would like to go on to work in Germany or for German firms.
